Ever wanted to mush a dogteam?

This is the first time I've ever posted a video - but in this case, it needed doing.

Thanks to North Wapiti blog, and Richard Todd, you can now do the next best thing to actually running your own team (besides reading my upcoming novel Dogsled Dreams, 4RV Publishing 2011)

Karen's B string means these dogs aren't even her main racing dogs. Wow!

Nice video - wish I could watch it on a bigger screen--it would almost be like being there. Those pups move at a quick pace. Good music too -- who's it by?

With action like that, you should have a good book in the works.

Awesome! I just hope it's the closest I ever get to a real dog sled team.

So cool! Now, if I ever decide to write about this in any way, I know who to come to for research questions. :)

I've always thought it looked like fun and I've always worried about the dogs' welfare. But I'm learning they get good care....

I used to cross country ski and ice skate and roller skate...I'm thinking racing a team is even closer to flying than any of those. I'm sure I'd love it!

Wow - did they speed them up for the video? They covered some distance. Looks like fun. Great song choice.

Dog sleds are neat! We might be needing one this weekend if we get the snow (again) that they are predicting for us.

This is actually on my To Do List. I would love to be involved with the Ididerod (did I spell that right?). Maybe when we do that Alaskan cruise I can squeeze it in.

Yes, but can't seem to manage with anti-cold hubby and two kiddos in school. Totally awesome video. I love the outdoors, it makes me miss home.
