What fills YOUR soul back up?

Silky calm waters
setting up for a sprint race. It ended in a tie after "to that pine" proved a little too vague.

finding a magical waterfall!
I've finished my rewrite! Sent off the revisions! And I'm free from the desk! Now it's all over but the waiting.
May as well spend my waiting time messing around in boats.

(My crit parter Paul Greci gave my ms a wonderful shout out on his blog! Thanks Paul!)

How do you spend your waiting time? (besides more writing)

Beautiful pictures! I can't wait to get back into our kayaks and find those awesome secluded spots. Do you use a waterproof camera, or do you keep yours in one of those bags? I tried the bag, but it was too much work, so I ended up getting a small waterproof one that I don't have to worry as much about.

I hope you hear good news with your revisions! I have just sent off some things as well and the waiting is tough. I have a new WIP, so that helps.

Hi Terry, Is your rewrite on Dogsled Dreams or a new story you're writing? I need to find me a new critique partner, our writing group has dwindled down to two people. I spend my waiting time writing and trying to keep the house in halfway decent shape (I hate housework). By the way check out the announcement on my blog :)

That looks lovely, Terry. I wish I wasn't terrified of water. But I am, so I fill my soul with sports. I love being part of a team. :)

Way to go with your success Janet! You'll love working with 4RV!
My rewrite is my second project ICE DOGS that I revised for an agent.

Amy, I used to teach swimming to adults who were terrified of the water! That is a hard thing to get over. Glad you're active in land sports though!

Beautiful photos!!

I hope that agent loves your rewrite!!

And how do I spend my time waiting, besides writing? This weekend we're going to Paddle the Clearwater River and part of the Tanana River. It's a pretty mellow float, usually lots of birds this time of year.

"to that pine" That is hilarious, and these pictures are so gorgeous. I think I would like your kind of waiting--it's full of soul. Best wishes on the rewrite results.

Great you finished your revisions. I'll be writing and going to my other job while I query & wait.

Congrats on finishing your edits. :) Enjoy your time with nature. I find I get my best ideas when I'm out in the woods, on the lake or by the sea...

Congrats on finishing the rewrite! And your pictures make me want to go up to the cottage now!

I'm about to send off my revisions to the agent next week so I plan on READING, goind to the movies, READING, watching TV without guilt, shopping. Just being a normal person again (that'll last me maybe 2 weeks before I'll be itching to write again!)

What a great feeling to finish something. I can't wait to finish my revisions. During any stage of writing, I feel like it's never going to end. At least deadlines keep me in check.

If I'm waiting, I'm usually reading.

Walking through the park, reading and blogging that's how I waste time!

What a beautiful journey you had! I love the pictures!

I wanted to comment earlier but the stupid blogger has been awful!

I fill myself back up with good books, good movies and good company.

Gorgeous pictures - thanks for sharing them!

I have to force myself to have waiting time, because I automaticaly want to pick up the next project and get started on it. But I do have to take a breather in between and catch up on real life - housework, friends, scheduling appointments, etc.

Good question - Hanging with the family, playing sports, and the beach. :)

Always gorgeous images!

I'm not a writer, so I don't have wait time.

But I have a soul!! And I fill it with God, family, friends, animals, music, nature, a good book.........
