Storm of the season

Over a foot of snow in 24 hours with high winds = no power for two days. But we've dug out, we're back on, and we're ready for the next one. Bring it!

and then the sun came out

If you keep posting pictures like these ones, you're going to find me on your doorstep one day. GORGEOUS!! :-)

Love the photos. We got ours 5 or 6 days ago, but now with warm temps and rain, it's gone.

WOW! That is a lot of snow. I used to live in the midwest and it would dump on us like that as well.

I'm with Shannon - gorgeous! We hit 65 degrees in Detroit yesterday - back down to the 30's this weekend. Spring gives me a headache!

Oh my gosh, that is stunning. We had hardly any snow this year at all.

Very pretty but I pick our Michigan weather. Sorry, but I like it mild. My crocus are coming up.

Wow, what pictures. It's 60 degrees here today. We've hardly had snow this winter. Your world is quite different from mine right now!

Wow! What an invconvience with no power for a few days, but how gorgeous!

We had a blizzard a year ago with 16 inches of snow (thankfully we had power), and it was so much fun! (But one every few years is enough for me!)

Stunning! We had that sticky snow dump too. It was so pretty - prettier probably to us because we didn't lose power. The whole time I was shovelling I thought I should get the camera, but taking off those layers was too much of a pain! Now I wish I had!

Oh my goodness. Wow!! Those photos are beautiful!

We've gotten gypped this winter. I bet all the snow we've gotten add up to about 6 inches ALTOGETHER. Instead of the several feet we usually get. I'm a little jealous right now!

Ick, sorry about losing power! Those photos are gorgeous, though. Looks like you got all the snow we didn't get in New England this year.

You only lose power when it's really cold or really hot. One of those Murphy's Law things.

Stunning photos, Terry!

Hi Terry!! I'm subscribing to your blog, but for some reason the updates aren't not popping up in my google reader. I'll have to try to fix that. ANYWAYS! Awesome pictures!!!

Have you had warm weather too? Any snow melt?

Wow! Where are you located??? We've had such a mild winter in Pennsylvania. The skiing has been terrible.

Not that I want to go without power, thank you very much. A happy medium would do.

Beautiful pictures!! We hardly got any snow this winter so I'm kind of envious, except for the no power thing ;)

Could you share a little of that snow? We kinda skipped winter this year. We didn't even get to go sledding! I know, can you believe it?
