My life as a poem.
I've started working on Dogsled Dreams with my awesome editor! Yeah!
Apparently I use "was" and "were" too much. Boo.
I sent a revised chapter today and already have it marked and returned! Yeah!
It is once again covered in little red marks. Boo.
I received a full manuscript request for book two from an agent! Yeah!
She wants me to add another 15,000 words. Boo.
Since I do have a day job - I'm envisioning long nights in my future. But I'm living my dream!

Living the dream...YAY!
congrads on the full.
All the best as you move through it. I'm sure you'll do a great job.
( I have to say, it's pretty awesome to hear someone write about their editing letter!)
Great news about your manuscripts. You are so blessed to be living your dream. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. :-)
That is great! I am so happy for you.
I have to agree with what Sarah said. It is awesome to read about editor letters, requests for revision, and the rest.
You are living the dream--yours and others! I'm really tickled pink for you.
PS. I'm getting out the "find" section in word and looking for was and were!
This was EXCELLENT! I so enjoyed a peak at the reality of a writer! Yay! I have to wait for the next post. Boo!
Wow--things are moving and shaking for you right now!
I am trying to exterminate most of the was/were from my manuscript. Those words are invisible to me when I'm writing. It's so great to know others struggle with that as well!
Congrats on the happily full life!
That's awesome TerryLynn! Just think all those revisions will make your work so much stronger!
There's always the up -- and the down. Good luck with everything!
Hey Terry--
I had to 'de-was' my ms too!! Congrats on the full request! That's fantastic! Good luck with it! :)
Congrats! Sounds like things are moving along well for you. Good luck, TerryLynn!
Hey, revisions are necessary. Just plug along! And Yay! Congrats on the full!
