SNOW! and other things almost as awesome

We've been hit with snow this week - little late for the two dogsled races that had to be cancelled, but just in time for March Break.
Tanzer on watch

"would you get off the blog and come snowshoeing already!"

about 30 cm more yesterday!

GOOD BOOKS
I haven't been writing as much recently, but I call this time in between "percolating". I'm also doing lots of reading. GREAT books lately. Here's a few paranormal suggestions:

Paranormalcy by Kiersten White
Haven by Kristi Cook
Unearthly by Cynthia Hand
Captivate by Carrie Jones
Delirium by Lauren Oliver
Forgive my Fins by Tera Lynn Childs
Warped by Maurissa Guibord

And a story that I LOVED - one of my absolute favourite reads - I can't even talk about. It's a manuscript by my fabulous critique partner, Paul Greci.

Have you ever read a manuscript that you were so excited about you just wanted to tell the world?

BOOK TOUR

Lastly, I will be in CHAPTERS bookstore in Sudbury this Wednesday for a presentation and signing. Please come by and  say hello if you can!

Hi Terry, good luck at the book signing. We haven't had much snow lately to look at, but I have been watching these eagles on a live web cam coming from Shepherdstown, WV. It's neat, they are sitting on eggs in their nest. I have a permanent click to it on the sidebar of my site if you want to check it out.

Pretty snow. Glad I can look at it from my warm nest. ;)
And, oooo, I want to read Paul's book. Yes, I did read another writer's manuscript and wanted to shout out how good it was. Can't wait to see it hit the shelves.

Snow looks awesome! And if I were anywhere near Canada, I would stop by to see you.

I have! I've been lucky enough to read some stellar mss from a few crit buddies and some other stellar folks. It's fun to have a jump on what the general public doesn't know yet!

Oh my gosh...beautiful! Enjoy that snow. Ours is disappearing, but lots in the mountains still (Calgary).

OH, I know what you mean. I've been reading Susan Fields' work for almost four years now...I just want to scream from the mountain tops how talented she is!

The snow is lovely but I'm ready for spring...we have tulip tops peeking up out of the earth and it makes me sooo excited :)

Yes, I've read awesome manuscripts/pre-books that excite and inspire me! (And yay for Paul!)

Have fun at the presentation!

The snow is beautiful, but I'm glad it's up by you and not down here. I've sort of had enough snow for now. I'm looking forward to a nice case of spring fever. : )

Beautiful pictures! (I always enjoy looking at other people's snowfalls - not my own!) Have a great signing in Sudbury! :)

I'm reading Delirium right now. There are so many great books out there, I hardly know where to start!
