author photo shoot fail

Posing for an author photo is hard! Posing with a dog even harder. But try posing with two dogs and have everyone looking the right way at the same time! At one point, both dogs jumped in the lake! Here are some outtakes:

Can you translate what this dog is saying?

And finally we got this:

Yeah! Hey, the outtakes are great as well.

Come on, it was all worth it for that last shot, full of your fun personality, passion for nature, your comfort in the great outdoors... Picture perfect!

Love the final picture. The first one made me laugh. What cute dogs.

We were just discussing Author Photos on the BB in the context of 'glamour shots'... Yours is the most glamorous I've seen anywhere! Look at that background, and the dogs, and ***you***! Fabulous.

(And thank you for the peek at the outtakes. What fun.)

I love the second from the last! Your expression is priceless, and your dog is doing what we like to call "airplane ears."

I love the final shot, but some of those outtakes are reallly fun!

Those are great! Getting animals (and kids...) to act on cue is never easy but you did a great job! :)

Those are fun pictures. :) Glad you finally got one that came out as a good author image, though!

I loved these pictures! They all are so fun. Author pics are hard. You want to present an image of who you are that's real and fun.

Personally, I like the first one!

There you are in the background, being all serious and author-like, and then there's that close-up dog eye.

You know he's saying, "Hey! Whatcha doin'?"

I think the dog is saying he's wasted!

The last shot is perfect, Terry. I've photographed pets for years and you just have to keep shooting and shooting to get one good photo.

Oh, I love these! So like a dog to steal the shot. :) Glad you got the results you wanted!

Haha, awesome. I've been trying to get a photo with my dog, but since she's black and shiny, she does NOT photograph well. I'll keep trying... :-)

I love the end result! Looks like it was worth it :)

Well, you know how they say you have to take a ton of shots to get the good ones. Love your end result. But I laughed the most at the one just above it.

Ha! I'm glad you stuck it out, because the end shot is great and the others are a hoot.
My favorite may be the demonic eyes. Seriously, you could use that for a spooky dog tale.

He's saying, "I'm glad the picture taking is almost over."

They turned out neat. Lovely dogs.
