Next kayak expedition

And we're off again paddling headlong down the Spanish River out to the North Channel and on to Bay of Islands. Can't wait to slide into my kayak again. I'll update next week with tales of windless, glistening water, sun-kissed paddling muscles and a menagerie of wildlife sightings. Er... that's what I've ordered anyway.
Oh yes, and when I get back, my inbox will floweth over with book contract offers. Actually, I'm waiting on some major developments. More later - must paddle now and clear the mind.

Hi Terry, thank you for being a follower of my blog, that's appreciated.

I really like your blog except it puts me (and my wife) to shame....we take no exercise, really. I've been promising to mend the bikes for almost ten years now!

I hope it's good news in your mailbox concerning your writing, when you return.

This looks like great fun. I've thinking about taking up kayaking... it really looks like something quite enjoyable. Is this one of those hobbies that one can just jump into, or is there much pre-fun prep?

Thanks for your comments everyone! I'm not much into excercise either, but do enjoy outdoor adventures. As long as you can get out of your kayak when it rolls you upside down - which it will - then just go for it!
