Site for writers

Thanks to a comment from fellow dog writer Mayra Calvani on my last post, I've discovered another excellent blog. Suspense novelist Alexandra Sokoloff's blog has free articles on elements of a novel including a handy checklist of what should go in each part of a novel. Great stuff even for someone who doesn't write suspense.

Also, you can now read my article Frozen Turd Wars on the Dogs in Canada website. Each month they feature an article from their recent issue and this month, mine was selected! You can vote for it too. The best part for me is the exceptional skill of the illustrator who brought Apollo to life. He even nailed Apollo's demonic stare.

Oh Terry that was both delightful and disgusting! I gave it five bones. LOL
Thank you for the new site to check out. Sounds pretty handy and helpful. I look forward to checking it out.
And lest I forget the most important part of this commment:

HAPPY CUPCAKE DANCE!
Congratulations on another victory.
Please refrain from celebrating Apollo style. heheh
Stick with the cupcakes.

Okay, you're lucky I wasn't drinking anything when I clicked on your article. That's hilarious.

Also I love, love, LOVE Sokoloff's blog. The articles on act climaxes were the most helpful for me since I have pacing issues. :)

I was drinking when I began reading, but then it came out through my nose....all over my keyboard......

Maybe you could autograph some towels and ship them out to your fans!

Thanks for the link. I stopped by and left a comment. I'm not a screen writer, but the principles she discussed can still be used writing a manuscript.
