30. Around the Rock, a Newfoundland Sea Kayak Journey by Ken Campbell (NF)

And I know I've said I will NOT purchase more books till I've finished the ones I have, but they're so shiny and silky, gorgeous colours, new-smelling, and beautiful. Also, I blame the the blogs I follow that suggested these great reads. It was simply not my fault.

You may notice a slight change in the blog design. In the header photo you can see Tanzer dog always manages to get herself in the pictures. I've been wanting to put a wintery scene in the background. This one is close. What do you think? Does it make it too busy?

That's disgusting! :)
I've read 1, 10, 12, 16, 18, 19, 22, and 23, but not necessarily this year. THE MAZE RUNNER, UGLIES, and THE PHANTOM TOLLBOOTH are in on my all-times faves list on goodreads. Enjoy!

The new look is awesome! Not too busy at all :)

I like the shiny new books! You've done really well on the reading list - I'm impressed and a little envious :)

Ah, I'm addicted to books too. :) Luckily, I get my fix at the library. But I do miss out on that new book smell.

I have a book addiction as well.

But since you only get one channel on your TV, I'm starting to understand that reading is more of a daily thing for you. I read in fits and starts.

I like the idea of the new blog design, but I wish the trees were not quite so snow laden...I miss the detail of your photography in them.

I like the seasonal feel of those two gorgeous photos in the new design. As for the books you've read, I'm in awe. I think I've read 10 and listened to two audiobooks in 2010. And I don't watch TV either.
I'm curious about Misty of Chincoteague. I read it several times as a kid. How does it hold up when you're an adult?

I love your blog design, I was going to comment about it even before you mentioned it! I think it's really nice, not to busy for me at all!!

What a list you have, I've still been meaning to read The Shifter by Janice Hardy. It looks like you're making headway, I love the ambitious attitude. The A to Z blogging challenge is one thing to handle but the 100 book challenge in 2010 is insane!! You go girl!

The blog looks great. And I know what you mean about reading what you already have.

I have a ton of purchased books waiting to be read. But I can't stop myself from walking in the library when I make a return. I always swear I will drop the books in the slot and catch up on what I've bought. But our library displays new books in both the MG and YA section, and I simply can't resist the pull. Then I always feel I must read the library books as fast as I can so others can enjoy the hot new books.

It's a viscous cycle.

Too busy? No, it's gorgeous!

I've faced facts: I need to keep my TBR pile shorter, or I hurry through the books too fast. I go crazy when it comes to saying, "I need this one, and this one, and this one..." but with the "pressure" of a huge stack I'm defeating the purpose.

I always think I'll stop buying books, but I keep getting more.

I'm at 21 books for 2010, but I still hope to reach 100.

You're so much more ahead than I am.. I only have read about 5 books out of 100 lol.. life likes to get into the way though... i don't think i've read any of those books but then again I read more thriller books than YA. Good luck with reading all 100 books!
